S.Chennimalai Gounder Charitable Trust,Tirupur is administrated by the families of SSM Group of Mills,Dindigul.

The objectives of the trust are

1. To open, establish, maintain, develop and improve educational institutions of general and technical nature and assist by providing necessary finance and other help.
2. To start, establish educational institutions for the study of agriculture and allied subjects.
3. To establish and run institutions for imparting vocational training for the benefit of general public. 
4. To construct and maintain institutions,to encourage and impart education in various aspects of any curriculum.
5. To promote education for poor and deserving students by grants of scholarship.
